In this tutorial, we'll guide you on how to hide a product collection in the cart, conceal the payment method, and display it when needed.

To get started, create a new customization and select Advanced Customization in the HidePay application.

After clicking Create Customization, a new window will pop up where you need to select Advanced Customization.

After selecting Advanced Customization, we will create a rule to hide the payment methods we don't want. This is how the new customization page will appear.

First section is called "Title," which is a required field. However, it is only for internal use and does not affect your live Shopify store. You can name it however you like—it's just for reference. The image provided is just an example.

Next, we will select the function input as Standard Input and apply the rule. Since we are demonstrating how to hide payment methods based on a product collection in the cart, we will choose the right condition.

For example, if a customer selects a product from the Hydrogen category, they will not be able to pay using PayPal or Cash on Delivery (COD).

Based on your needs, you can choose to hide, sort, or rename payment methods at checkout. In this example, we are hiding certain payment options, so we will select the "Hide Payment Methods" option.

Next, we will pick the specific payment methods to hide. Since we want to block PayPal and COD, we will toggle them off so they won’t appear at checkout. If a payment method is missing from the list, you can also add a new one.

Finally, save the rule. Now, whenever a customer adds a product from this specific collection to their cart, they won’t see PayPal or COD as payment options.

From the dashboard, you can enable, disable, edit, or delete the rule at any time.
