ABCheck allows you to export the full configuration of a completed experiment and re-import it to run the same test again. This is useful when you want to repeat a test, iterate on a previous experiment, or share configurations between stores.

How to Export

Once an experiment is completed, open it from the ABCheck dashboard and click the Export button. ABCheck will generate a configuration file containing all the experiment settings including variation names, traffic splits, payment method assignments, success metric, and stopping conditions.

How to Import

To re-run or duplicate an experiment:

  1. From the ABCheck dashboard, click the Import button

  2. Select the previously exported configuration file

  3. Review the imported settings to make sure they are correct for your current store

  4. Modify any settings if needed (e.g., update payment method names if your store has changed)

  5. Save and activate the new experiment

Important Notes on Importing

When you import a configuration, a new experiment is created in Draft status. It will not activate automatically  you need to review and manually activate it. This gives you the chance to update any settings before the test goes live.
