It is not mandatory, you can subscribe the plan also if you have only one of the two apps but the Hide Suite will activate all features of the apps for both apps, Hidepay and HideShip, without any other subscription required.
Of course if you are missing one of the two apps, you will need to install it to use it.
The installation is not automatic with the Subscription of the plan.
